About us

Tom Scherr, owner of P&S Builders continues the tradition that was started by his grandfather who founded the company back in 1969 and was later carried forward by his father Charles Scherr. Tom grew up in the family business, beginning his career by carrying lumber and sweeping floors as a teenager. He then began operating the day-to-day construction of each community, building our homes with his own hands and managing the crews on-site. After graduating from college, Tom took on the role of Vice President, actively managing the company in cooperation with his father. Now, 45 years later Tom manages the entire company and personally oversees the construction of every home built by P & S Builders.

P & S Builders has perfected its homebuilding craft and has established itself as one of the most highly regarded homebuilders in Baltimore County.
